Passion Never Fails...
Either you love what you do, or you don’t do it!
Working as an on-air radio personality, Isis Jones lives for music.
Isis grew up in as a military brat and learned to go with the flow early in life. A real down to earth person, she works hard to stay grounded and true to her craft. "I love connecting with people, and I do so through music, community and my radio work".
Isis hit the airwaves for the first time at Lincoln University in Jefferson City while she was still a high school student. She was excited about the opportunity! She knew early, radio was where she wanted to be!
She went on to work as an on-air personality at a number of radio stations (Jazz, R&B, Country, Rock and Hip Hop) and behind the scenes in television news as a video editor/ photographer and camera operator! With that additional work, she explored her interests in cinema, and earned a film and video degree from Full Sail Real World Education in Florida.
Courtesy of Miles College, Isis instructed courses in Radio for their communications department and enjoyed working with future Communication Professionals!
"There are days I come in tired or beat down by life and the music and my gift always bring me back! People need to know they have a safe place to escape when they listen to me. Let the rest of the world bog you down... I'm here to set you free." Listen in to 95.5 The Lou Monday thru Friday 9am-2pm
Champion the Cause… No matter what it is.
"I love on people as I'm called to do... Sometimes a little... Sometimes a lot."
Isis lost both of her grandmothers, four months apart in the same year. Both were placed in nursing homes. Neither could talk or move. Both succumb to diseases that could have been prevented: Heart Disease and Diabetes. She promised herself to make a change in her own health! When a relationship was formulated thru a successful mutual promotion with AHA, Isis was thrilled to become an Ambassador for the Birmingham American Heart Association! Through her work on air and lifestyle off, she loves sharing ways to eat and exercise with her friends and family!
"Breast and prostate cancer prevail because of lack of information. I look forward to working with The American Cancer Society on behalf of my aunt and my father."

Music makes me high
"When I think of Universal Unifiers... Music has to be at the top of the list"
"I could say a lot here... but I'll simply say this: Music has been my saving grace. From the cradle to the grave, I will always find something inside of the notes that make life truly worth living. As a connoisseur, I love it all!"
